He was born in 1970 in Aydın / Nazilli. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Nazilli.

He studied medicine at Ege University Faculty of Medicine between 1986 and 1993 and graduated as a general practitioner. He worked as a general practitioner in Şanlıurfa and Aydın.
​
In 1996, Prof. Dr. He started his Cardiovascular Surgery specialization at Siyami Ersek Thoracic-Cardiovascular Surgery Center. During this time, he had special interest and studies on providing vascular access to hemodialysis patients.
​
Between 2001 and 2006, as a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist, he worked intensively on vascular interventions for hemodialysis at ÅžiÅŸli Etfal Training and Research Hospital.
​
He worked as Dialysis Surgery Center Coordinator and Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist at DoÄŸan Hospital between 2006 and 2010.
​
He served as the Director of Dialysis Surgery Center at ÅžiÅŸli Florence Nightingale Hospital between 2010 and 2013.
​
Between September 2013 and June 2014, he served as Dialysis Surgery Department Manager at Hizmet Hospital and AtaÅŸehir Memorial Hospital within the Memorial Health Group.
​
Between 2014 and 2020, he continued his studies on vascular access surgery at Acıbadem International Hospital within the Acıbadem Health Group.
He has been working as a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital since August 2020.
With the 5000 hemodialysis vascular access (fistula, graft) operations it has performed to date, it has world-class knowledge and experience in this field.

He has scientific posters and oral presentations at many domestic and international congresses on the creation of vascular access for hemodialysis. He also has scientific articles on establishing and monitoring vascular access in hemodialysis patients.
​
He has authored chapters in the books "Dialysis Handbook" and "Hemodialysis Nursing". "Intravenous Line for Hemodialysis" and "Intravenous Multidisciplinary Approach to Hemodialysis".
​
​2017-….. He works as a Board Member and Secretary General at the Dialysis Physicians Association.
​
2018-….. He works as the chairman of the "Vascular Access Working Group in Renal Failure" at the Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery Association.
​
He is married and has two children.
